A clip round the ear from me too. It's bad enough giving birth to a baby - but a pony!!!

Do hope the little one arrives on time, gives it's mum an easy time and is fit and raring to go...

Tell me about it. Back in 1957 our first daughter was born. In those days you were just left on your todd. No hands to hold or rub your back. As my labour progressed I felt a need to pee. I had already been told off by nursing staff for ringing the bell unnecessarily. I slid out of the bed and crawled, hands and knees to find the loo. I met someone coming out and all she said was "Do you want boy or a girl. I will not repeat my reply. Suffice to say she left in a hurry. My beautiful daughter arrived safe and sound on

7th December and weighed in at 6lb 10oz.

I would put money on the sprog keeping you waiting! 2 of my 3 kept us waiting more than a week. To make up for it though, they were fairly quick and straightforward deliveries. Either way, what a great early Christmas gift.
