I took action, they offered me a bunch of vouchers and an apology to go away. I refused and mentioned that I would include the fact they tried to buy me off in my statement to the court. They then offered me a couple of hundred quid, albeit in groceries. Then Missus C said that if I turned it down and carried on with my quest for justice, she'd leave.
That swung it really.
