I'm always intrigued as to how and why people get their on-line names, and avators....
How did YOURS' come about? and what's the story behind it all?
In case any of you are shy at all, and to start the ball rolling....
My completely gorgeous bloke Paulie, is affectionately known as 'Trousers', because he calls me 'The Skirt', particularly when he's not sure of something, and he says, "Oh, I'll have to ask The Skirt"....
Why he's got a picture of the cottage as his avator instead of a pair of Trousers is still giving me sleepless nights, but hey, it's not my party, is it?!
As for me, I've been known as Wellie for as long as the Pope has had a balcony. And the reason being is I'm very rarely seen OUT of a pair of wellies, and no, I don't sleep in them, but yes, that's an oldie, I could if paid enough (!)
My avator (Flowerpot Flob-a-Lob) was made as part of a gardening competition that I took part in when my father was terminal.
My father would have been over the moon. I won First, Second, and Highly Commended, with Flob, and other entries. And I take HUGE glee in 'dressing him up' and 'dressing him down' as the mood takes me, to make me giggle. There's a spectacular photo of him with a Piglet Kebab that I'd like you all to see sometime (!) AND, I plan to make him a girlfriend this year....
SO?
Could we start 2007 getting to know each other do you think?!
