Changing topic slightly, I bought a car from a prison warden - funniest thing was that the first owner of the car was none other than Ronnie Knight - convicted for the Security Express Robbery (also known as Mr Barbara Windsor)
I suppose I better 'fess up. I joined another site and decided that my usual eekname wouldn't do as it was getting a bit overused on the web - in another life I am Sidewaysthinker (because I tend to see things a little differently).
Anyway, I decided I might as well be Madbat, but it was already taken so I decided to go one further and become Madderbat, which describes me quite well!
The avatar I explained on another thread, (painted by Mr MB at a low time of his life) is an alternative perception on the world, which I love.

My Majesty made for him a garden anew in order to present to him vegetables and all beautiful flowers.- Offerings of Thutmose III to Amon-Ra (1500 BCE)
Snadger, everyone asks me that - I have taken the whole car apart and put it back together again!!! Didn't find anything of interest but Mr Knight has confessed to owning it!
My name is Jack but everywhere on the net my name has been taken before I join things.
When I was in my twenties I was the only one and people would say... "Thats an old name you must hate it." the fact was I loved it as I was the only one.
Then Titanic came out and young expectant mums fell in love with Leo DiCaprio (sp)
A year or two later I would be in the supermarket minding my own business, when there would be a shriek of "Jack put that down this instant or I give you a smack" made me jump I can tell you as I wasn't used to having my name called out or offered smacks by strange women
Jaxom is the name of a dragon-rider in a science fiction / fantasy book. I love Dragons. - perhaps because there is on on my nations flag.
Jaxom is shortened to Jax which sounds like Jack when you say it.
So for me it all ties in. but for others it may be as clear as mud.
When I was at school, Fiona was a very common name so we had to find some way of differentiating between us. I was called big Fiona because as a teenager, I was an 'early developer'.
Can someone tell me how to go about getting an ativar?
Bet you can all guess where my name comes from - Dexter my dog and lancashire 'coz that's where we live! The avatar is my favourite picture of Dexter sat in my back garden checking the quality of my digging, and about to plant some fennel for me. Dexterdoglancashire
