I had to drop in just to say a huge thank you to my SS. I received (in lovely packaging) two packets of really exquisite bark (I think) stars, which are just gorgeous. They're rustic and magical at the same time, and they are about to be incorporated into the table decorations, so I'll take a photo and post it here.
I love them and already have lots of plans on how I want to use them next year as tree decorations, etc!
I feel very lucky to receive - from a SS - a gift that I would have chosen myself, had I seen them. Thanks so much. xxx

I have been looking at my pink wrapped Secret Santa pressie for over a week now. At last I can open it. It feels so strange to feel the thrill of expectation again after all those years. I even feel like pulling the string and tearing the paper

In my parcle there were, Whole Nutmegs you have been reading my mind!!!! for the last few weeks I have been meaning to buy some looking but not found any! My sister bought me the Levi Roots Caribbean Food Made Easy Cook Book. Yum yum to the recipies in it!! Fresh grated Nutmeg is called for in a whole heap of the recipies in the book!! Now I can smile and try some of them properly , NO I have not mentioned about the book on here till now! You sure your not a mind reader?? SS LOL
Yes I agree people that don't like cats must have been a mouce in an earlier life! lovely fridge magnet, lol the cat on it looks like a younger version of my old black cat Esev
6 envelopes packed with all sorts of lovely seeds now have a new home with me! Big Grinn, A dinky jar of Tomato Chutney, also a twin jar of Caramalised veg chutney, awww so sweet! Last but not least The Essential Herbs Handbook Think I'll have to become a herbalist now! lol

Just wanted to say thank you to my East Anglian SS for the wonderful box of goodies - sloe gin, shortbread, seeds and hand made lavender bath bombs...such a wonderful treat, and so thoughtful
