We were very pleased with our ss's and reading the above posts, it seemed that ours were reasonably well received so we will be pleased to join in if someone wants to organise this again next year.
I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!
Now a little Shrinking Violet.
I'm still waiting too folks ( and now we're snowed in again!!!!)
It'll arrive- I know it will- it'll be a wonderful surprise in May!
( I ordered some slipper insoles back in early Oct and they were sent out, and arrived at my mom's house just before Xmas...."plenty of time Grommit...plenty of time")
( I know my SS arrived and seemed to be well received!)
...its about giving to be honest isn't it? It's a shame really for the sender- having put in the effort of choosing/buying/wrapping and posting...thank you anyway for thinking about me SS!xx
As for my special benefactor I am lead to believe that you are from up North. Do so hope you are snug and warm and don't have to venture far this chilly winter. Take care xxxxx
there can't be that many peeps further south than you !!!
"Nicos, Queen of Gooooogle" and... GYO's own Miss Marple
Apologies for the late posting of my pics, a duff camera battery and a fair old dose of flu has knocked me for six this last week.
Again, a huge thanks to my SS for the lovely gifts. The bulbs will be planted up in pots down at the walled garden in the Autumn and the lovely Boots smellies will be put to good use this weekend when my cold has disappeared and the house is a child free zone. I will have a lovely long soak in a very deep bath with a glass of wine - yum!
This is as good a place as any just to tell you that in Bridport the gritter lorry painstakingly drove up and down our little streets. Ah bless. It was followed 5 mins later by the road vacuum sweeper. Lesson to learned somewhere.

Sounds like they gritted the wrong street and the sweeper came to claim it all back
