I would like to say a huge thank you to RT for organising this year's SS. I do hope we do it again next year!! BTW, do we know how many pressies are still stuck in the postal system? I think if you work out percentages SS was a resounding success. So sorry for the Grapes who haven't received their yet, though.

I have to say, well done RT for such a brill success, i never got involved this year and am still stamping my foot on what fun i missed out on, i do hope that you do this again next year as i will def join in this time

I was so excited when my seeds arrived I rushed on here to post pics, but I forgot to thank RT for organizing it all.

I carefully took my parcels (3 of them) with me to Spain to open on Christmas Day.
Seeds (heritage legumes of 3 types) a lovely Christmas decoration (will post picsonce I download them from the camera) and a beautiful warm Aran knit hat... then, guess what, I left that hat behind when packing! I could really do with that just now too. I'm so angry with myself!
I don't know where I put the seeds, but pretty sure they will turn up (some unpacking not completed yet) but while I distinctly remember picking up the hat to pack it, it isn't in any of the bags!
Thanks to arrangers, and to the lovely person who sent the parcels!

This is as good a place as any just to tell you that in Bridport the gritter lorry painstakingly drove up and down our little streets. Ah bless. It was followed 5 mins later by the road vacuum sweeper. Lesson to learned somewhere.
