I haven't been around for a bit. Was away last week and started the new job on Wednesday. My new desk is on the end (bonus!), but this means all the office traffic goes past, including the department manager. Not sure it would look good to be caught on The Vine all the time!
It's sooooo good to be in an office that I can see trees from and daylight, too. I actually cast a shadow yesterday and got very excited!
My new boss is actually knowledgeable, too. Makes a nice change from the last one. My poor old colleague is already applying for new positions - seems that now I've left it's even worse, as she has no-one to moan to, anymore!
I did my first cultures of intestinal cells, yesterday. It's real blobology, as they're grown in 3D cultures, rather than the 2D ones I'm used to. Well, it's exciting to me, anyway...
I shall try and pop in more, during the evenings and hope that my get-up-and-go comes back. Not helped by having a wood burner, now, as it's sooo nice to sit next to it!!
