I take it Snuffer that your sofa was ordered from a swatch & not from a green sofa in the shop, if that makes sense.

If the lighting in the shop makes things look wildly different from how they will look at home, then I'd say you have a case for calling it deception!

Take your a sofa cushion into the shop and see if it looks green?

Oh and get the name of the pattern and check the colours it comes in with the fabric manufacturer.

I do know that all this hastle must be taking it's toll. But fairs fair. If you expected a green sofa and got a brown one (whether or not the lighting in the shop was misleading) You have not got what you thought you were getting. I think you are entitled to some form of compensation. Get haughty with them. Demand your money (plus) back and start all over again.

Is there no description of the colour you ordered on the order form they gave you when you purchased it ?

Snuffer just had to respond to this post - you know what its like - you pop on for a mo then a post catches your eye......

I think this is a case for Grape power - name the shop and we will be behind you in what ever way, shape or form you need. Go on name them and shame them....

                    How's it going???
Have they left it with you- cos if you keep it for a certain length of time and use it, it may well be deemed that it's yours.

If it is with you and you don't want it, you need to put it in writing- and keep a copy for yourself to say something like " it's not what you consider you ordered as you specifically asked for/wanted green. If they don't remove it within a certain time you'll be obliged to use it , but will still require it's removal at no extra cost to you."

What have you done with the old one- did they take it away?
