But what about the water-based bingo industry? What about those poor people yelling bingo numbers at sea? Eh, Mr Chancellor?

Will no-one think of the Bingo Ships?

So, women of a certain age will be able to indulge their 'lack-of-Wogan-itus' with a few Bingo trips.

      And balance is restored.

I can say in all honesty I have never ever played a game of bingo in my life, no even online -each to their own.

It was the way the item was being read out on the news that made me laugh and go in search of it

Ive looked at the budget report on BBC website, i suppose if i was one of these bankers getting a huge bonus ! i could live with 50% tax, but i`m not so all i can see is that i will be paying more national insurance ! say i`m wrong but it feels to me like the uk`s huge debt gets dumped on the normal wage earning tax payer ! x

Piskie, I would love to think you were joking - but sadly I think it is true.
And madly - anyone who has a landline phone will have to pay tax to fund broadband - my MIL will love that !

From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.

Aye it could open a huge can of worms for sure!

One of my colleagues gets very annoyed about having to pay tax for child allowance (or whatever it is called) to be given to people who have children when he has chosen not to have children. Kinda similar I guess

                        Tis all a mess
