For perhaps the most 'Christmas lit up' house in Britain, google "Longford Road Melksham." Several articles there. Yes, it is a bit wasteful of electricity, but people PAY to see it, and the money goes to charity, and it is, quite simply, spectacular, It would seem that the gentleman has inspired lots of his neighbours too.
