Depends on the situation really, formal meeting or having been introduced by a colleague or friend for the first time then yes, but if its a oh by the way this is then a smile and Hi.

Funny you brought it up, HB came in from school and said how she had walked home with male friend and how when they crossed the road he moved to the outside of the pavement, to be joined by another female friend who went to his other side he again moved to her outside, friend says what you doing, he says he always walks on the outside when walking with girls, HB had noticed it before and not said anything as she understood the manners behind it, male friend said other friends have taken the mikey, but he thought it polite, he also opens doors for girls, and who says teenagers don't know how to behave

Having thought about it I think it's the exagerated noise that gets me rather than the actual act, especially as round here it often seems to be done by those women who wear far too much make up and stink of a whole bottle of perfume

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Handshake for a formal meeting and hug or kiss for family and friends.

that is a pet hate of mine - perfume! eeewwww hate hate hate it, with a passion I hate it!

If I am served by a waitress wearing enough that I can smell it, I have to complain. If someone sits near me in a restaurant with too much on, I have to be ask to be moved.
