Whoohooo, seeds arrived yesterday. All first choices and some Salt Spring Sunrise lucky dip tomatoes. Don't know anything about them apart from what it says in the catalogue. Apparently bush type with varying fruit sizes and apparently good blight resistance although a bit of research doesn't seem to bear this bit out. Anybody grown them?
Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
No, didn't choice tomatoes as any of my choices, first, second or third. I too wonder how they work it out, suppose it's a sign that they've got plenty of spares as it was a variety you could select as a choice so I hope nobody is disappointed!

I just got my membership pack for both GO & HSL in the post this morning I shall save it a 'quiet' time over Christmas.
I notice in the press that Webbs GC are taking over the running of the garden centre part of Ryton - I'm sure you all know that already, I'm not sure I have visited a Webbs GC, so no idea what they are like.

Yes, it is an issue 'hotly' [for GO forum] debated at the moment. There have been at least 10 posts on it in the members' area.
Is it worth us all listing the Heritage type sees we already save - then we can debate between us a list which will give us the most variety when we each act as a 'GYO Seed Guardian' ?
Or am I over-complicating life?

Nope, it sounds a great idea.........I already started listing my beans the other day - and those of us with plenty can send some for growing for saving to the ones who don't [who are in the Circle].
Great - because I'm unlikely to remember them all (old age AND great variety) I'll go upstairs and count my stuff and make a note rather than trying to post off the top of me head! Get back to you later!

I have a few heritage seeds in my collection, probably not as many as my fellow circle members, but I will be sure to make a list. Are we going to post our lists on here or do need to wait to be instructed :-)
