I thought about writing down what I'd asked for, but then a kind of devil may care feeling came over me.

    Oh the excitement!

Where is my catalogue? It still has not arrived .

I phoned HSL, who said they employ a firm to send their catalogues out and it’s done in batches!!!!!
Person from HSL checked my membership which was in date and suggested I phone back next week if it still hasn’t arrived, great.

I always thought they came out together and seems a little unfair if not. Anyone else not had their catalogue?

Ooooooo excellent, fingers crossed I'll get mine before Christmas. What did you get? All your first choices again?

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Just got mine today too - in spite of sending it in the begging-letter envelope to the worng address! All first choices - and they obviously know I have form and have sent me a lucky dip of another climbing bean - one that hasn't been in any of the last 3 years' catalogues, so maybe they don't have sufficient stock to offer it as a choice?

That's the bunny! I'm interested to see how that turns out - I have descriptions of the others from the catalogue!

Are the definitely a dwarf runner, just found this via google which indicates they're between 5 and 8' tall? Park Seed: Bean Mountaineer White Half Runner - An heirloom German pole bean, also called Old Dutch Half Runner. and what's a half runner anyway???

                    • I have no idea - I just copied it off the envelope. Time will tell I suppose. I must get round to:
                      a - listing my beans for 2010
b - letting two-sheds know so that I can send her some....

                            • He he he..nearly caused a divorce there. Just came back to check on something I'd read earlier, saw zazen at the end of this and looked to see the answer. My whoop of 'YIPPEE IM IN THE CLUB' caused OH to sit down smartly
Bear in mind I'm not maternal and turn 50 in April.....

                              • Although I am very new to this lark I would be very happy to help out. Haven't planned what we are doing on the new lotty yet so can make some space. Also on lotty one quite a lot went to seed due to our incompetance so I mite be good at this! No offence taken if I am "too new", happy to hold my hands up!
