The thing is even the kids were starting to notice the state of the house. I'm at work all day and I know it sounds old fasioned, but I'd think the least my wife could do is to keep the place clean and tidy whillst I'm out all day, but no, she's flipping burgers and tending her farmon facebook. Now, I don't know about anyone else but I know she's got better things to do.

I do understand how you feel though, I have had to pull out of some online fora due to getting too sucked in, losing track of time and generally not having enough discipline to realise how much time I had spent in 'there'.

My defence, Your Honour, I have to do Social Media/Marketing stuff for some clients.

Online farming etc apparently does take up a lot of time, possibly even to the detriment of other nefarious activities (housework being one of them) although I must confess to being in awe of your bravery at banning the wife from said site.
I think the George Medal is the highest award that can be given to civilians outside of a wartime exploit, I'd check the New Years Honours list very carefully.

Oh deary deary me. Quite agree with you Incy. I know I spend too much time on this blimmin thing BUT to be banned would in no way encourage me to "to keep the house clean and tidy". I would probably wreck it!

So with you TS. Our house is always a mess. I would love it to be tidy but as OH is a house husband it is his (agreed) job. He doesn't see it so I blitz the place from time to time. He does however cook amazing food, do the school run in the afternoon ( I usually do mornings through choice) clean the bathroom and help with building raised beds, shifting soil etc. I love and appreciate him for what he does do and have learnt to live with what doesn't get done.
