Another point, you're not happy your missus is spending so much time on facebook, is she happy that you're on a forum at 3.21 in the morning rather than going to bed with her?
Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

I joined FB 'cos it was the only way I could find out what my youngest was up to when he stopped speaking to me. (20's son, 60's mother dating again - he doesn't approve) .
I only turn the machine off a cuppla times a week. I can get on with what I want to do and if a message comes in it keeps clicking until I deal with it, you don't have to sit playing all day."I prefer rogues to imbeciles as they sometimes take a rest" (Alexander Dumas)
"It is neccessary to have wished for death in order to know how good it is to live" (also Alexandre Dumas)

PD launched a revenge attack on the facebook, because Missus had put parental controls on his favourite late-night websitesAll gardeners know better than other gardeners." -- Chinese Proverb.

However, I do think we should give PD some credit for realising (albeit with a little help) that it was the wrong thing to do and making some sort of amends.

My OH has trouble sending an email, he can only reply to ones I send he wouldn't even know about blocking access to anything. However he knows better than to tell me I can't do something, whatever area of life it affects.
On the otherhand, he gets the same consideration.I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!
