I'd love a clean & tidy house.
It just ain't possible with a free-range parrot and Mr Sheds living here though.
What I hate about housework is that no sooner have you wiped the floor than someone's pooped on it again.
I too would love a sparkling house, pity I'm so idle!! I'm not on facebook but have recently had e-mails from complete strangers asking to br a face-book friend. They must be hard-up for friends!
Delighted to read that all's well that ends well and I hope you have kissed and made up. I must admit I was getting a little sad to think of you two at war, so to speak. Your lady appears to have a great sense of humour. Maybe she has just gotten used to you by now. Have fun.
The thing is even the kids were starting to notice the state of the house. I'm at work all day and I know it sounds old fasioned, but I'd think the least my wife could do is to keep the place clean and tidy whillst I'm out all day, but no, she's flipping burgers and tending her farmon facebook. Now, I don't know about anyone else but I know she's got better things to do.
Well done how did you do it ( I wish i had the guts to do that on the evony website)
Mrs D is on it all the time I just thereton to take the modem its easyer

Our broadband router has a URL filter, but don't to it Mr D, it's not worth the hassle. It's safer to just do the housework yourself
LoL
Must be a yorkshire thing then (I see you are from my Neck of the woods) The men do what the women say or we let them think that
ohh no I might have just started a war

All I'll add to that is; if the people who noticed that housework isn't being done ever bothered to notice when it was being done, they might have someone more willing to do such a boring, thankless task...
You've made a good point there Sarz. There have been weekends where all I've done is clean and tidy, but my OH would never think to say that the oven is clean, or how sparkling the bathroom is. The only time people notice is when it is not done! My theory now is that I look after the corners and let the middle take care of itself.

I have often wondered why I get comments about a dusty house (blame the plaserers lol) but NEVER get comments when it's all clean. I found 'clean me' written in the dust on the sideboard! No one has owned up to that yet...
And NO it isn't cos it's never been clean lol
But alas the building work all finished for now - so No More Ecuses for me
