Ah right, yes, speaking to someone from near Maidstone this morning and they said they'd just seen a postie - good job I didn't accuse them of hallucinating!

I've seen our postie van and just read on the secret Santa thread that someone's received a parcel today. So they are out there.

I've just had to walk to the shops for the 3rd day in a row as our road to icy to shift the car! Road just 2 house/garden lengths across clear (bus route) - ours like an ice rink with v.dodgy corners top and bottom - just to make matters worse.

Can confirm sighting of RM vehicle about its delivery duties within the last hour!

Nope, I have only recieved very late post (about 6-7 at night) lately, and nothing on the weekend at all, nor have I seen any extra posties about.
I think it was just a PR stunt to calm everyone down, Jacob.

absolutely no extra deliveries round here!
and no extra counter staff in the POs either (though that might be a different company?)

                      Had mail Saturday afternoon.
I receive great service my SO and posties, they are extremely efficient. Glad if it means they haven't needed to work Sundays in Dec.
Am not expecting any more parcels but I expect the door will be blocked with flowers and cards for my b'day next week.

No post today but all post has been totally random recently. Saturday's didn't turn up until about 4ish so maybe that was today's arriving early...............

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
