Good luck with the new venture Tracey.
Sounds like you have a great future ahead of you.
Once you get over the initial gut wrench of losing your job, sometimes it can be the best thing to push you into doing what you always dreamed of but never had the time for before.
One thing; if you are doing a stall, try doing a bit of cooking with some of your produce to sell for a bit more dosh.
This also encourages people to buy things they would not have had a clue what to do with otherwise.

sounds a great plan, do keep some chickens too, people love fresh eggs and the chickens manure will feed your crops! i would seek a part time job in the meantime as it always costs to set up new ventures and will keep you secure. Can we come and camp on your land please? Do you have nice views? See where this is leading?!!!

maybe do a bit of both and run a few camping pitches too, and do meals with fresh grown vegs or look to supply good named local restaurants.

There is a huge trend in camping at the moment for sites where you can have real fires and also sites that offer food.
I went to a fab site in Dorset.
The site owner sold bales of straw for you to use as seating, logs, kindling etc to build your own camp fires.
There was a ban on radios and cassette players so it didn't worry the live stock or local wild life.
They had sheep dogs and you could pay to take them for a walk!
They also had a scheme where by you could feed the ducks, chickens etc again you paid them to feed their livestock.
There was a barn on site with a wood burner in where you could go and buy locally produced beer and wine and sit and chat with other campers, good when it rained.
There was an on site shop selling organic produce, milk, eggs etc to cook on site.
They also had a food van which sold organic pizzas.
It was a fab site, the loos and showers were all solar powered too.
Sounds like you have a lovely site that you could adopt some of these things in.
                          Good luck.
