    Stuck in the snow!!

    Alton in Hampshire has been having localised heavy snow all day. Everywhere else round here is getting bits and bobs of snow and sleet. Alton is gridlocked apparently with accidents and road closures.
    This wouldnt be a problem except MrH and our eldest are stuck at work with no immediate prospect of being able to get home!

        Are they home yet? Alto really gets it when it snows there doesn't it. I only know it as it has a lovely green [with strange humps in it]

            All roads in and out shut, numerous accidents and a bus on it's side! They are making a dash to the station in the hope it's the RIGHT kind of snow and the trains are running. I may have to schlep up to Woking to rescue them

                  I'm surprised they haven't looked for a hotel for a guys night out!!

                  Hope they are home safe soon.

                  (Reminder to self, being in walking distance of work is a good idea)

                      just buy 'em some snow shoes ... or tell 'em to improvise and heath robinson some from tennis raquets...

                          Got beers in and a roast on. They managed to get a train, been all round the houses but at least safe and warm Thanks for your support all, you came up trumps as usual
