MrH was home this morning cos it was still too icy to take him to work. Bless him he offered to come to Tescos to help with the Christmas food shop.
He told me which gear to be in twice before we got to the end of the road! I was at growling point by the time we got to the mince pie section!
I was extremely relieved to take him into work after lunchLast edited by FionaH; 22-12-2009, 06:59 PM.WPC F Hobbit, Shire police

Himself finished work Xmas Eve morning, I go to work Xmas Eve night
He will be home over Xmas/Boxing Day/weekend, then work for 3 days then off for New Year.
Myself, pickle and m'mother are buggering off to Cumbria to have a few days with my younger sis from 27-30 Dec which are the days he will be working anyways. Doesn't look like we'll see each other long enough to get under each other's feet over Christmas this year!!Kirsty b xx

My OH is permenantly at home due to no work. .the good news is I'm at work 4 days so he's not underfoot.
Actually as he's my best mate (slush puppy) we dont get on each others nerves too much. When he finished work I left it a week then calmly pointed out that when he works I cook and clean (sortof ) so when I work he can do it. As long as I point out the bits he'd forget it works well as he's quite domesticated on the qt. And he irons like a demon When I'm at home we tend to sort things out together. Except the chooks, I always do them unless desperate, cos my gander eats him and the others hide so he cant get the head count right.Anyone who says nothing is impossible has never tried slamming a revolving door
