I've made a recent discovery

We had a friend over for lunch at the weekend and LadyWayne had bought a bottle of Prosecco. I have to say I'll have a glass or three of that over Champagne (which I'm not really keen on anyways) any day.

I was never a fan of champagne until I heard the trick of putting a shot of elderflower cordial in it. So much fruitier that way, and much more to my taste.
I don't know if it's got a special name, perhaps Elderpagne!

There's some fizzy stuff over here that sells for about a euro a bottle I think, but I cant remember the name of it. Its quite sweet but as I have a sweet tooth I like it. A lot.
Any of the Frenchies know what I'm talking about? (On this particular subject at least)

Vin Mousseux or Cremant is probably what you're on about Bob, we prefer the 'brut' as opposed to the 'doux' though, but really lovely with creme de peche or cassis. Normally had as an 'apero' and yes, very cheap normally between 1 and 2 euros. In fact, we've just pushed the boat out and bought a bottle of Ackerman Saumur rose (sparkling) at 5 euros a bottle!
