Neither does the 2nd one does it? Its still just the first part of the NVQ, the C&G 6129?

Anyway hope you find a way to do the course.

Yes, the second one is sufficient for me to work over here.
The qualification earned at the end of the first one, with only 5 tasks needing to be assessed externally to receive an NVQ level 2 is transferable in France.
      The first one isnt.

Bob, back to Algeria...What if you applied for your visa from the UK? Would that make a difference do you think?

is there a chance you have visited someplace since your last Algerian visa which has put the kybosh on a new one? I know some countries won't let you back if you have been to one of their enemy places (hope that makes some sense)

Good luck with it all anyhoo.

@PB, The Algerian embassy in London stopped giving visa's to anyone associated with my company a long long time ago. Business visa's for said country aren't easy to get at the best of times, and I think there had been some creative applications in the past, so thats a nono. Plus, I have to be resident in the UK, with a bona fide address, and proof of utility bills, neither of which apply. Keep trying though, outside the box is good.

@Shirl, that is why I have 2 passports Shirl. Any countries that are likely to be upset by a certain stamp dont get that passport.

It was probably my behaviour during my previous stays in Algeria that have had me blacklisted.
Pfff still fed up this morning.

                        Just found this thread Bob.
                        Darn.
At least you're able to focus on what you'd like your future plans to be- or not.

Think +ve..at least you do have a job and the peeps you work with are friendly

New year...more changes- hopefully in the right direction.
                        xx

                          Bob, I'm with Janeyo,

I know nothing of these strange things of which you speak but I am gutted for you and with my ever positive head on, I'm sure it will all turn out good in the end. Keep your pecker (you'll have to imagine that I have put a strikeout line through that - not that good at HTML either) chin up
