Bet that's one of the best Christmas presents you've ever received, love to baby Riley!

My Christmas pressie? A Christmas with my big sis who understands me (and criticizes me, don't get me wrong!!) - a chance to cook for friends and relatives!* Ooh and some nice smellies from Boots and a cheque to pay for part of the airfare!

Best present was a lunch that went of without a hitch and a very happy MiL who hasnt been well enough to come for lunch in ages. The boys clubbed together and bought us a blue ray player! Their generosity made me cry

Two packs of different size root trainers (although a miracle I got the right thing - cos when I mentioned them months ago, was asked wouldn't I prefer Adidas or ****!!) and two pairs of merino wool ski socks to keep my tootsies warm in my wellies on the allotment - the gratitude I showed for these was immense!! Never ever thought I'd get excited about socks in my santa sack - it's either a grow your own thing or age - I'll let you be the judge!

              My best pressie was Christmas.

I have known Christmas since he was an egg, saw him hatched, watched him running round the veggie patch, and saw him killed. Today I had him for Christmas dinner and he was absolutely lovely.
Next year I am looking forward to his siblings, Easter and Nuggets.

Doesnt come close to a great granchild though, many congrats.

New super smart purse (requested) and lovely bra and knickers (dont know if he's hopeful or just sick of me wearing my tatty ones) off OH. And some pennies to go in the purse from mum n dad.

But best of all some time doing nothing special with Al (OH)

I got River Cottage Everday from my 6 year old (with a little help from Dad methinks ) the ONE book by Kazuo Ishiguro that I have not read (The Unconsoled) from my Son, dont know about my eldest who is over tomorrow, and thats it really - we dont really do much for adults, as we give each other little things through the year, being together is enough!
I also had a lovely gift from SS - thank you xx

I would LOVE to know what you think of this book - it's one of my all time favourites (from my favourite author), but I have yet to meet anyone else who either read it, or liked it ... I think it's stunning. It's probably be Christmas 2012 by the time you finish it, but do let me know.

I got lots of lovely things and more tomoz, as my family descend upon us. One my bestest ones so far is a gorgeous carved-mirror jewellery box from Mr R.

Still v chuffed with my SS pressie.
