  • Regretable Xmas presents

I am starting to regret buying Little One a kazoo

It's been open 3 hours, and it may well be dealt a fatal blow in a minute

A few years ago I offered to buy my nephew a drum kit for Christmas my sister threatened with worse than murder if I did.

      He now plays the trombone.
The river Trent is lovely, I know because I have walked on it for 18 years.

Probably not one of your brighter ideas but at least the sherry should help. Don't know how you've lasted 3 hours, think that deserves a medal.

Hopefully your consolation is that it is driving Mr S even more crackers than it is driving you?

My sister bought my youngest a battery powered minature steel drum. Watch this space when she gets back from her trip!

This is the first year we have not suffered with any "noisy toy" from a relative

Thank goodness for that! They usually last a couple of hours before hidden or broken

You'd think now that the children had moved out and the grandchildren didn't come to visit this year that it would be a lot quieter - oh no, OH was given a Star Trek faser (?) - he hasn't stopped playing with it yet!!!

Whew, Looks like I had a lucky escape. Was going to get some smellies for my son but couldn't find any good ones locally and with all the snow/ice there was no way I was braving the big city

Nothing bad this year but years ago when we had our dog we bought her a stocking with a squeaky toy in it which she lay down with & bit to make it squeak about every 20 seconds for days on end. Needless to say the squeak got accidentally removed in an effort to save my sanity. Are there any bits you can remove from a Kazoo Two Sheds?

Sue - a knitting needle soon puts a stop to the squeak

My 'annoying' Neighbours have bought their 2 toddlers a giant trampoline, the one with the giant net around it, Aka kid cage style, and have positioned it up against our fence near our french doors.

I'm quietly hoping for a very wet cold summer.
