Having become obsessed with growing veg, I have neglected flower and plant growing, so I am going to try and redress the balance ... slightly ... I think ....

        I've tried it, it works.
You start off strictly, but then gradually introduce a little more carb into your diet as you go.

You're not recommended to eat loads of fatty meats and cheeses, as some people think.

A piece of grilled chicken or fish with lots of veggies and a nice dressing is actually really healthy (or a bean salad for the vegetarians)

I'm going to lose the stone I've put on since my bike crash, somehow.

I'm going to label all my seedlings properly.

I'm going to put up my new greenhouse in time.

I'm going to get Mr TS interested in growing: starting with chillies.

I'm going to guerilla-garden my local footpath with nice flowers to deter litter and dog poo

I'm going to pick up a piece of litter a day from my local footpaths.

I'm going to sew a Chanel-style jacket, however long it takes me.

I'm not going to waste time on people who won't spend time on me.

No resolutions for me as I'm perfect in my eyes!

In defence of the Atkins diet it did work for me but it meant I had to prepare all my own food and try and fit it around work!

Now I just gobble up whatever OH serves up ( I do a bit of cooking myself as well!) and my weight hasn't really changed in about 10 years. I am obese, not seriously so, but appear to be quite slim when I look at my family and friends!

I am going to spend less time on the 'puter and more time on the lottie.
I am not buying any new seeds until I have used up what I have already, barring any that come with magazines of course. I do need to buy potatoes though.
I am going to use the car less and walk more. And use public transport.
I am going to look for a new job.
I am going to make more effort to email distant friends more often.

Thanks for that WW - the reminder I mean

I am going to make more effort to keep in touch with 'Them wot moved to foreign!' Although, as Mr. G points out - communication works both ways, and it aint us wot moved away! He does have a point I guess

Hayley, yes, I'm gonna try and keep off the hooch till the weight's gone

Steve, ta for the kind words, that's exactly the response I get from Mr. G - no bladdy help at all!
