Well folks - do we want a new thread of nostalgic gardeners? I just wonder because from time to time I find things for my lottie that remind me of years ago!Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?Comment

So many of the old ways still work well today.
But there have been many improvements in more modern times.
Newer crops bred for disease resistance/larger crops/more reliable crops for example.
But the tools themselves are much the same, if not exactly the same, as they were a long time ago.
And the gardeners shadow is still the best weed killer.
