Agreed, the milo in SA is better too.

We drink a glass or two of wine of an evening, along with water, and always take a glass of water to bed. I do like the idea of a hot choccy bedtime drink, but get put off by the fact that I'd have to clean my teeth again after drinking it!

Oh Snadge - I'd forgotten about those horlicks tablets, I used to love them. Haven't seen them for years.

I always take a cup of Tesco Value Hot Chocolate to bed with me (it's only 50p for a huge jar). It's lovely, much nicer than Lidl and Aldi's cheapo brands. Sometimes I eat it with a spoon as well. I do like Ovaltine and Chocolate Horlicks but don't buy them very often.

There's always a bottle of water on the bedside table in case I need a drink in the night.

Cold chocolate milk, the powder in the yellow box from Lidl is great. I used to buy Milo in Germany, but it's too sweet for me.

If I fancy hot cocoa, I get OH (the joys of being married to a chocolatier) to make it properly with the darkest chocolate we possess - at present, that's a Madagascar at 87% cocoa solids. A splash of (medicinal) brandy is a must in this weather too!

I am so spoiled, got the bottom to prove it.

Much like Rhona - we have a couple/few glasses of wine of an evening, and like many of you we take a pint/beaker of cordial to bed for the middle of the night waking up with a mouth like an iguana's armpit situations.
