don't know much about art but I like them, and know top one the missus would love!Never test the depth of the water with both feet

Very neat pastel work, tricky to do competantly but you're doing a fab job. I just make sludgy mess. Perspective is also very good, the dresser in the second pic is an excellent example.
I would definitely give them wall space. They'd sell well at craft fairs too.

Lovely atmospheric colours. Would be really nice to do some of flowers/veggies.When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant. ~Author Unknown

As a holder of a grade B at 'O' Level Art, I am in no position to be a critic, but I like 'em.

I agree with zz9 - pic 1 looks like a close up cos the grain on the paper - perhaps use a softer/finer finish with your pastels or maybe use cotton wool to smudge big areas (if you haven't already).
I liked them both: number 1 has lovely colours but the subject was too ambiguous for me and I couldn't decide if it was grasses or a bridge to start with, but I have just been skwinting at a spreadsheet for the last 3 hours so don't take it to heart, I'm sure it's more my eyesight.
I love number 2 - I particularly like the different aspect/angle you've gone for - fab.
