It was -3c at about 4 o'clock in the afternoon yesterday, -6c-ish at midnight, and it got colder. I had to get up and put the heating back on for an hour at 1am because the house was so cold.

Ditto the dressing gown adventure....nearly -7c here in Somerset.

Chooks are on extra hot breakfast rations this morning, with extra corn for good measure. I do hope we get some snow!

It looks sooooo beautiful, pink sunrise = pink trees and fields when covered in deep white frost!

Outside here, it's -5 degrees, but not a cloud in the sky, a beautiful sunny day, but cold! Soon warmed up though when mucking out this morning, the girlies are now out in the field with their thick rugs on, munching on crunchy grass! More snow forecast here for Tuesday night...oh good! Inside, it's 14.5 degrees with no heating on, we will light the wood burner mid-afternoon, yesterday it took the inside temp up to 22 degrees! Roll on summer!

Not sure about the temp i've still not got around to buying a thermometer, but we've still got a garden full of snow, a frozen pond and my greenhouse windows are icy.

Had a minimum of -4.5 overnight, it was still -3 when I took the little one into school. Now a moderate -1.

It was minus 3 when I got up this morning but has warmed up to a balmy 0 degrees in the sunshine in the back garden, paths are like skating rinks & it's blinking freezing cold!
