Picked up a leaflet from my local library today called "Helping Hedgehogs" published by the British Hedgehog Preservation Society in Ludlow which gives lots of useful facts on hedgehogs and how to encourage them into your garden.
They are asking for donations of working or broken mobile phones, empty printer cartridges, Foreign coins, unwanted or broken gold or silver, new goods for raffles etc.
Also they ask for any surplus or collected seeds from garden perennial plants, vegetables or herbs. These donations get sent to the Hedgehog Helpline and Cardiff Institute for the Blind Gardeners Club.
I know we have own very own seed swap on the vine, but someone might like to donate - after all, hedgehogs are so useful to us gardeners aren't they
