We've still got it from before Xmas (it melted once, but came back again). It's only a couple of inches, but the pavements are now black ice where it hasn't thawed

I live between Mac and Coreopsis so obviously have snow as well. Just under a foot, I would think, and heavy snow showers as I write. Stir crazy!!!!

Been snowing here all night and still falling now, this is on top of the snow we have been having for the last 3 weeks. All buses are cancelled and all schools are closed.

Went to my plot yesterday to have a look round, heres a photo, there are more on my profile

No snow here, though we are usually the last place to get any if at all

Still no snow here but some very dubious grey cloud has moved in in the last half hour or so!

Same as Sprocket said its been snowing here since 5am, we've got about 16" down and no sign of it stopping, Photo is outside the kitchen window this morning at 8am, OH was sent home from work at 12.30...he's just arrived home, had to leave the car at his mates house, I had to laugh at the cat, he needed to go to the loo, when I opened the back door he jumped out and just disappeared in a snow drift....I've never seen a cat peee as quick in my life.

I think ours should arrive overnight...so I'll be checking up when I go for a pee!

One thing I love about the snow is how everything sounds so different.

                        Lovely piccies by the way!

Fairy tale flakes falling again here to add to the inch or so from this morning - I'm walking up the road to go to the post box and to get a paper in a mo, whilst it's still fresh & lovely - I live near the town centre & snow soon goes manky.

Just got back in Nicos, and had the radio on. Snow is due to fall all over La Grand Ouest this evening and tonight. Lots apparently, so quick, nip to Super U and get all your Maltesers ready
