Snow is where?

Other end of the country Mac, but even we have snow at the moment and still snowing - great big fluffy flakes. Apparently they've already had 6" over the moors - I'll believe them, certainly not going to check!

See I am in Devon and not that far away from you. No snow here although a few small showers and rain.

One thing I love about the snow is how everything sounds so different.

It has snowed continuously here from dawn to 2.00 p.m. Since 3.30 it's been coming down again! I'm no longer finding it magical!

Hey Tiachia and others up here in Laplandshire! Still snowing ALOT! Whiteout conditions for the past age.....The BBC news and weather have given up on this part of the country and are now just telling us where in the rest of the uk snow is going to fall. Guess that just means that we're in for it constantly....the joys.....Hope everyone who is in the thick of it or about to be has food, water and heat (and your fave tipple if you fancy it!)..

No fresh snow here but it's bl**** freezing. The snow we had the other day is still laying where the sun hasn't reached it. Side roads are like ice rinks cos the Council only grits the bus routes!!

Fairy tale flakes falling again here to add to the inch or so from this morning - I'm walking up the road to go to the post box and to get a paper in a mo, whilst it's still fresh & lovely - I live near the town centre & snow soon goes manky.

Right - back from the post & little shop. Very pretty on the side roads with nice snow, clear to drive on the main roads but slushy on the pavements.

In retrospect, might have not been a good move to walk up past the local secondary school at hometime - I got caught between rival gangs of snowballers.

On the plus side, our cricket teams should not be short of talent in the next few years...
