We had a tiny 'icing sugar' smattering last night, and it's just started again now, but I don't think we'll have enough to enter Nicos' snowman competition just yet.
Brengirl - I'm near the Somerset border so I'm not so far away. Had about 4" overnight and it's coming down again! The garden hasn't looked this good in ages!
Nice pictures Comfreyfan. We had an inch or two last night but not as much as a lot of places. Supposed to be a load more today and staying cold till late January.
Yayyyyyy we have snow. It started at about 11pm last night and I was watching it through the very big glass windows. It stopped after about an hour. Never seen Tesco car park so empty, like most staff I had parked underneath ( we have two story car park as well as large open car park ) It started again about 5.30am after the grit lorry had gone past. I left work at 7am and gingerly drove home as the snow was settled on the roads, got up the hill without any problems and right outside my house for once was a huge parking space. It snowed till 9am ish. School closed so daughter home. OH went to work roads clearer by then, Its snowing again now. will have to take some pics and build a snowman.
Son no 3 has had his car crashed into while he was still in bed, why anyone would try to drive where he lives beggers belief very very steep. He has taken photo's as has a neighbour.
About 2 inches of snow here and sky heavy with threat of more. Chickens took one look and went back to bed! Labrador thought it was wonderful. No school for kids, unfortunately.....
