  • Should also hate it but I don't. Just wish my boy was well enough to go out and play in it!

    • Used to love it, but over a foot of the stuff overnight has put me off!

      • I'm loving it too - it won't be around for ever, so best to enjoy it whilst we have it, it'll be baking hot and droughty in no time

        • I'm loving it

Son's got a day of school - health & safty, they may fall over and get......wet, but at least he's gone out rather than being surgically attached to his xbox

I won't be loving it if it's not all gone this time next week, I've got a plane to catch!

          • Spent the morning in the back garden with the grandchildren. Not too much snow, but we managed to make half a snowman. They loved it.

Excuse me, could we have an eel? You've got eels down your leg.

              • Love it! Can't get a supermarket to deliver any shopping, can't take the babies anywhere because the snow too deep for a pram, so we make snowmen, bake muffins and watch the lovely snow falling!

Also Mr R decided to come home early yesterday, as so few people showed up to the office and we're REALLY hoping he does again this afternoon so we can go sledging!

                • Me and the grandchildren managed to make half a snowman this morning. School was closed till 11 cos of heating problems. No more snow here since round 1 pm, but it's very cold. Roads are slushy and pavements slippery.

                  • Now that I don't have to go to work anymore (retired) I love it!

And that's despite the fact that I'm too scared to drive in it - the first hint of a flake of snow and the car stays home.

But I love walking in it - so beautiful. We don't get it very often do we, so have to make the most of it. I just feel sorry for all the people trying to get to work/kids to school etc.

                    • Can we have a 'fairly indifferent' option please!!!

I don't mind it, but hate driving in it!

                        • Snow lying about 6" deep. Bright blue skies one minute and then a snow shower the next! The sunshine has helped to melt it a bit, so I'm hoping we can get the car out tomorrow.

                          • Bad mood today so beginning to hate snow.

Our woefully inadequate heating in the bathroom means our toothpaste has frozen (seriously)
We're both self employed so no money coming in
Live in the middle of nowhere so cann't get anywhere (been trying to move for 6 mths now)
Only 3.5 bags of coal left as local depot hasn't got any left cos the suppliers from op norf cannt get down here.
The local fox is on the prowl cos he walked past me today with a rabbit so Ive had to lock the hens in their night run - very small but safe.
The wild birds are running out of food.
                            Grump grump grump grump
Oh yeah, after 8 months of searching I finally have a job interview tomorrow for a proper paid job
                            It's my dads B-Day 2moz n I was going t take Xmas & B-day stuff round tomorrow as well.

                            Really bad mood - sorry

                            • Despite ending up in a ditch on Sunday, and nearly totalling the car today I have to admit I just love the snow. DS is with me on that 100%.

                              • Lots of snow, shops out of everything. Local villages without power. But I dug up leeks parsnips and we have soup! I feel really really smug right now!
