Oh, they do. This moderating lark is tougher than I thought.

Trying to catch these messages with nothing more than a butterfly net is harder than they make out.

Then you have to try and stick them down - and in the right place!

I do miss the scenery and snow we used to get in AB51.....not doing too badly here though.

            • DD and I just went for a walk around the churchyard. I only have ankle wellies, and since breaking the ankle 4 years ago, I can't get into full length ones. The snow was deeper than the wellies, so I ended up with wet, frozen feet. However the churchyard was very picturesque, DD took some video footage of a robin at the church door too.

I got home to find my Head of Dept had phoned to say school will be closed again tomorrow. The problem is more that some staff live in areas more affected than I do, so we won't have enough staff if all the students were in. In ICT we don't really need to be there anyway, the students do the work on the computer, hand it in online, and I mark it. They can get feedback and their marks, and email any queries. Only thing is, when the school is closed, they don't do the work!
I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!

That's a fair move - one end of the country to another. It is stunning up here. Will keep trying to get the pics up..

Moved all my life, my Dad was RAF. Although this particular move was going home after 8 years in AB postcodes because of OH's job.

I think it's in the blood too - my Dad is from Invershin, Sutherland, and my Mum is from Somerset but from Cornish/Geordie descent.

                  • We are having mad blizzards today, mainly every time I have to step outside of the house for some reason.

Are you trying to attach them, or post links?

Both should work as far as I know.

It's usually because they are too big to get through the postbox. Try folding them [making them smaller sized].

Plus we only have so much glue. Pritt sticks (other glue sticks are available) only go so far.

Will that work? Is post getting through in the frozen north east then?
