Wow thanks Zaz - I'd never heard of these, but I'll be taking a good look now.

They're quite expensive; but I had plantar fasciitis last year and they cured it. John Lewis do a Jan sale of the less popular ones but they are still quite pricey.

      Well worth it though.

Had a "whohoa" moment on the way to the car this evening, but that's about it thus far. For someone with such a high centre of gravity I'm quite pleased with meself.

I haven't fallen YET! But, my best fall was a few years back...I was climbing a wee mini fence at the side of a MacDonald's drive through, only to get my leg tangled in the wire fence...and not only fall, but flip over in a very impressive manner. I ended up flat on the ground, with one leg tangled in the fence...in the air...with my SHORT skirt over my head! The drive through customers didn't make it any less painful for me...they all peeped their horns and shouted out their window!

          Let's hope I don't EVER have a repeat performance!!

(I've never worn a skirt since!)
I love to talk about nothing. It's the only thing I know anything about!!

Haven't fallen yet but the discovery of two frozen hockey pitches at work with about three quarters of an inch of ice on the top of them isn't going to help . Especially as we can tow each other up and down them with the ride on lawnmowers as well as powersliding and drifting the ride ons as well. Tomorrow is going to be a fun day.

            Hockey Pitch-

            Let the fun commence-

            And again-

There comes a point in your life when you realize who matters, who never did, who won't anymore and who always will. Don't worry about people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it in your future.

I'm terrified of slipping over on ice; I put my back out the other day walking through the park.
Now I've put screws in my boots I've got a bit more grip

Torville & Dean finale style slide day before yesterday as I was crossing the lawn to feed the guineapigs. Pigfood, hay and shredded newspaper all over the place!! Managed yesterday playing in the garden with the grandchildren with just a few Waheys and somehow stayed upright!!

A couple of stomach churning slides to date but I have stayed upright (so far).
Did manage to scatter chook pellets across the patio during one such slide though. Dogs hoovered them up as they do with all food and drink spills Chez Nous. I hope they don't grow feathers or start laying eggs

Went out to the bin this morning, I skidded a few times before both legs went up in the air, I landed very ungracefully with a right thud on my bum, I didn't know weather to laugh or cry, and the snow looked so soft, BIIIIIIG bruise appearing now.....I'll not be posting photos
