Splendid view! congrats, very impressive, but do you walk and read at the same time?
In my youth I could cook a full roast dinner whilst reading a Terry Pratchett or David Eddings. Unfortunately my days of being at the stove with a full blown novel are long gone - I forget which planet I'm on these days!!
Jane, the only trouble with David Eddings is I'd forget about dinner altogether...
I confess to liking the old avatar too Grandpa, but have to admit there's a rustic charm to the new one.
Hi Poledragon - you still here?? D Eddings really does grab you, unfortunately not conducive to smalls and family I fear! Hope you and sprout are feeling ok. Take care
[QUOTE=shirlthegirl43;56899]Since this thread seems to be an appreciation of dragons in one form or another - how many grapes have read Eragon?[/QUO
I have seen the film Eragon, is it based on the book? Film was excellent, book must be too if not better.
Who is it by and where am I likey to get a copy?
Kirsty b, the film is indeed based on the book - the book is probably available in all bookshops - I got the second one in the series from Tesco. They are by Christopher Paolini, first book is Eragon, second is Eldest and there is a third on the way. Superb books, written by a young lad (he was 15 or 16 when he started writing Eragon) and appealing to all ages. My elder son vowed not to read it when I bought it then fought me for the book!!!
