Splendid view! congrats, very impressive, but do you walk and read at the same time?

In my youth I could cook a full roast dinner whilst reading a Terry Pratchett or David Eddings. Unfortunately my days of being at the stove with a full blown novel are long gone - I forget which planet I'm on these days!!

Nice Avatar Dragon. If he looks like you - well - he looks OK to me.

Like the Avatar Dragon, it quite changes your image The other one gave the impression of a tall, white haired, bearded magician

Since this thread seems to be an appreciation of dragons in one form or another - how many grapes have read Eragon?

I quite liked your old avatar - sorry! As Roitlet says - a white bearded magician dragon.

Jane, the only trouble with David Eddings is I'd forget about dinner altogether...

I confess to liking the old avatar too Grandpa, but have to admit there's a rustic charm to the new one.

Kirsty b, the film is indeed based on the book - the book is probably available in all bookshops - I got the second one in the series from Tesco. They are by Christopher Paolini, first book is Eragon, second is Eldest and there is a third on the way. Superb books, written by a young lad (he was 15 or 16 when he started writing Eragon) and appealing to all ages. My elder son vowed not to read it when I bought it then fought me for the book!!!

Yet to go and see the film though.
