Glad I'm not the only one. If I don't give in to the sugar cravings I'm evil to live with. I'm not usually that bad since I weaned myself off Chocolate, but it gets worse again when I'm on the low Carb diet. Ho hum!

      • Anyone else find that pickled onions stave off hunger pangs?

        • Well, digging the lottie at the weekend worked! 3lbs off this week at ww weigh in! Yay. Now for the rest of the stone I put on since last summer...
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

          • Well done, Jeanie! That takes a lot of concentration.

I am full of admiration for all you exercisers - 8 miles, Kirsty? - before breakfast, Two Sheds? - dancercise, Janeyo? - you're all marvellous!

Hormones are a b*****r, Glutton4 - glad I don't have to worry about that now! It doesn't matter that you give in once in a while as long as the weight-loss-eating continues underneath the binges. Don't give up - we're all with you.

            • Well, I weighed in this morning and had stayed the same....

However, I don't mind, as I did make and eat chocolate bread and butter pudding over the weekend, and had a choc muffin yesterday, so the fact that I've stayed the same is very good actually!!

              • Totally agree with the pickled onions thing TS, and olives I find! Still having a good week. Did more static bike last night and had a healthy meal. Out with the dogs for a 3 miler at 06.30 this morning, not raining today so should get out for another 2.5miles at lunchtime. Feeling good!

                • I'm better today - been out working, so kept me out of the fridge. No cravings today, but the cheesecake is shouting at me from inside the fridge. I'm making do with 2 bowls of home made veggie soup, which is yummy!

I like walking, doesn't feel like exercise although I've never done it 'seriously' before. Am in training for sponsored walk in my signature link below. Would like to survive it!!

                    • Went out for Valentines meal tonight - burger & chips, copious fizz.

Compensation: jogged to school (2 miles) & only had 2 yogs & a cereal bar before that.

                      • A "naughty" day or meal every now and then is good to give the metabolism a kick! So think of it as a positive burger and chips!

                        • Weighed the same yesterday as last Wednesday - BUT the fat is disappearing, a bit anyway. I have not been naughty, not once, and only occasionally crave something sweet.
That chocolate covered ice cream lolly advert really doesn't help at all!!!

Oh, I'm in good company then, another hormonal sweet craver! Want some of Mr. G's Choccie Cheesecake - it's yum!?

I'll stop eating it when it's gone!

                              • Just came across this thread as I was thinking about the bacon sandwich I had at lunchtime (3 rashers, two slices of bread, some butter) and the TWO large biscuits I had with my tea at 3.30.

Am now trying to think of a good evening meal to counterbalance!
