  • Well done anna, and although you're finding it slow (I think we all wish it would come off as quickly and easily as it seems to go on!) you're going in the right direction! I'm 2lbs down this week, which I think in part was down to all the snow I was shovelling yesterday! Talk about a good workout!!

TS - that was one of the first things my friend who had IBS found when she stopped dairy, less bloating and just generally feeling more comfortable in the mid region. Hope it continues..

      • I have been to dancercise twice this week. I even managed to not get locked in the loo. Ran from the car to post a library book, and back as toddlie was asleep in the car and didn't want to wake him and didn't feel like I was going to die afterwards. lol

        • We did another 2 mile run last night, and knocked a minute off our time!! That means we've run 6 miles in a week

Shame I can't manage to shift any weight though - have been stuck at the same for 4 weeks now. Then again, I could have easily put half a stone on in the same amount of time if I wasn't watching what I was eating!

            • wahey I lost some pounds this week, difficult to be sure how many real pounds as was TOTM last week and I'm always heavier then. Just shows me, when I actually put the effort in instead of being half hearted about it. Also got letter in re interview for a temp job next week (double wahey) - better loose a few more pounds this week so I can fit into something interviewish.

                      • I am putting off docs til all sickness is cleared, don't want to pass it on to all the old dears up there. It's horrible.

Iam expecting a weightloss this week though

                        • There's a dose of the same going round my work place just now! Its on individual number 4 this week already! Keeping my door shut!

Was wondering if anyone can help me with suggestions for snacks? I am getting the serious munchies at the moment and fruit just isn't doing it for me!! I have been trying to lower my carb intake so think this has probably done something. Am also doing lots of exercise. There are loads of biccies and cakes everywhere (there always are when you're trying to be good!) but I really don't want to give in to temptation. Has anyone got any healthy ideas for something to stem the grumble in my tum?

                          • I make batches of no point soup (with weight watchers). If you google them you can find some yummy ones.

Low fat (ish) yoghurt? I like the Longley Farm ones to buy, and have now got an EasiYo, so just make up a batch of that once a week and snack on that.

Grapes are good, and not messy to eat at desks either

                              • Also the alpen bars, and special k bars are very tasty and yummy too, and they come in lots of flavours now.
