I have lost focus and need a push.
No excuses, just forgetting to look after me while looking after everyone else, and doing the easy option and the lazy option
Cut the first slads from the greenhouse yesterday so with salad days on the way maybe things will improve.
REALLY pleased to hear about everyone's progress though

well done for all your losing. I've been a bit naughty the last week. Went to a civil partnership at the weekend so diet and exercise went out the window (well apart from hours of dancing to an ABBA tribute band!!). Came home and got ill. No eating for 48 hours, so lost most of what I'd gained. As it was for the CP that I wanted to lose teh weight for, I'm in need of a new goal to lose the last stone I want to get shifted. Any suggestions?

Hi everyone, I hope I'm not too late to join in?
I need some serious motivation, Started a diet at christmas and so far have put on over 1 stone! Apparently my issue is the fact that I don't eat enough calories so my aim is to start calorie counting and eat the recomened amount and see what happens then.
Hopefully seeing everyone else losing weight, (or not), will give me motivation and encouragement.
I would like to lose around 2 stone but size is more important to me then the weight side of things.

Aparently i was only just eating enough before and now i am eating less my body thinks i am starving myself so has been storing what it can and leaving me with no energy and sleeping lots. I thought i was eating enough but it turned out to be around 800 calories a day. So i have been told to eat around 1500 and hopefully i should start to see some results.

Hi Jemma! If you can hack it the Atkins diet would work well for you as it gives you lots of energy created from your own fat stores. You don't feel tired after the initial couple of days and you don't feel hungry either. If you reach a plateau which lasts for more than a few weeks you can go onto another phase, called the fat fast, which really shifts the weight. I started at the New year and lost 12lb in the first three weeks. Then I got stuck for six weeks and started on the fat fast. In 9 days I have lost 6lb and feel great. It's not for everyone, but might be worth looking at for your situation.

Well we've decided to try for no.4 before I get past it. But I want to try and get a bit firmer and loose a tyre around my middle. I found it really hard loosing left over baby weight from baby 3 and most likely left over baby weight from the pregnancy that came to a sad end a few months before that.
So I go to the allotment almost everyday but as the plot is now in good condition theres less proper digging to do.
So I thought I start running every other day for say 20 - 30 minutes. Maybe cut my tea down as I have 2.5 spoons of sugar in one cup, however I eat really well so can't change my eating habits as they are good anyway.
I also walk to and from school
I guess I should loose about a stone. Never weigh myself I'm just basing it on what I know I was before no.3 which was a size 12.
Any advice really would be welcome, hoping to fall pregnant as soon as but giving myself a month to come off the mini pill
