Milk has arrived as normal every day (god knows how, our road was pretty much unpassable by car on Tuesday morning!) but no sign of the postie since Monday and the bins haven't been collected since before Christmas - although to be fair, that's only one collection missed!
Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
No Post since last week, and green bins out since last Sat BUT we have been told they will be emptied on Sat. We will just have to wait and see.
Truthfully, we live on a secondary road that hasn't been gritted and its like a skating rink so i don't blame the postie or the bin collection.
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,

No binmen, no recycling collection for a few weeks, no post since Monday.
Anyone waiting for deliveries from UPS, they are out & about, we saw one of their vans broken down, skidded up part onto the pavement on the main road near here this afternoon!
Our Postie has managed to get through - as usual - in his little van.
The Courier Van (that I was waiting for) managed to get through.
The village is clear, and everyone is coming and going as normal.
BUT
The %&$£*& ing Bin men still haven't been .
There's a back-log...
Think I'll take it to the tip and send 'em the bill!

No post again today, but the local paper got delivered. Our bins are supposed to be emptied on Saturday, I'll believe when I see it. Most of our rubbish is recycled but the recycling guys only take so much so I think it'll be a trip to the tip as we have much more than will fit in our boxes.
Mrs B was very smiley when she delivered the newsletter - I'm wondering if she's kidnapped the postie?!

When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant. ~Author Unknown
