My Spaniel is obsessed with Baileys - if he is in no one can have any as he will pin you to the sofa for it.

The other one loves anything with dairy and sulks if she doesn't get the yogurt pot lid.

In the summer whilst podding peas and broad beans they both were rather partial to the whole produce and took to stealing them when they thought we weren't looking.

I know, and so does his owner. He only allows him them as a treat, though I certainly wouldnt give anything like that to Dexter.

Likewise, I always put christmas/fruit cake for the birds onto the bird table rather than the ground, as people walk their dogs past our garden and there is no fence, and I wouldnt want them to eat it (the dogs and Dexter, not the owners!!!!!)

Once had a budgie who would perform tricks on the promise of a sip of sherry. He used to chase coins rolled along the floor and also used to ride round on the turntable of the record player (slow speed) hopping over the arm every time he got to it.

My dog loves just about any food - fruit, veg & yoghurt especially. She stamps her feet & "uffs" at you if you don't give her the yoghurt pot to lick when you've finished. She has also learned that my veg patch is a great source of food & in the summer she picks her own Runner Beans if they're growing low enough - doesn't like french beans though. When digging up potatos it is a race as to who can get them out of the ground first as she firmly believes in finders keepers, same with ripe strawberries - i thought it was birds & squirrels eating them until i caught her red handed. She has also been known to pinch my sweetcorn cobs from my trug & eat them whole.

My Mum had a cat called Delkie (THE most expensive cat in history - it got lugged around the world with her) who used to visit the campongs in Singapore and come home with green whiskers!

Zhukov the iguana absolutely adored baked spuds. I was quite safe as I dont like them, but he regularly used to leap on the settee next to where my ex mrs was trying to eat hers and stick his feet straight into her plate and tuck in.

We had a cat who used to love buttered toast & a dog who loved cheese, the present cat just wants anything I'm eating & then after a mouthful or two decides whether she likes it or not!

Forgot my first border collie who used to come blackberrying with me and pick her own
And my first horse, who was very partial to pilchard sarnies, and drank coke out of the can..picked it up himself too.
And Star again, who used to get fruit bonbons between his back teeth and suck them..VERY noisily for AGES
