Much of our snow has gone - it's been raining for 24 hours! We had to go shopping this morning as we'd not been able to get the car out for a week - sloping drive! This afternoon is my usual T'ai Chi session in the village hall - gentle exercise amongst good friends - wouldn't miss that, then I'm cooking for tea. Our village pub doesn't open on Mondays - how inconsiderate is that?
Got a digital max-min thermometer from Mr Flum, and birthday money from all the rellies kept in by the snow. This has enabled me to go onto the internet with a clear conscience and order FABRIC! Quilting sessions are just the thing when the weather's rubbish.
Cheers to you all - I'll raise a glass to my good grapevine friends this evening.
