Everybody Needs Somebody to Love by The Blues Brothers. If I'm drunk I'll dance like a nutter to this - and I DON'T dance!

Don't Stop Believing by Journey, will have the car stereo on full blast so the windows rattle! Mind you, so will most good noisy rock songs

I used to love Brown eyed girl but then it turned into the sound track of my 1st broken heart, so too bitter sweet for me.

OMG I love this song - this song sooooo reminds me of fab summer parties we used to have. We were lucky that 3 friends all lived in the same house (spilt into 3 flats) and if the party started in one, it pretty would be in all 3 flats and the cellar by the end of the night. Windows and doors wide open, JD flowing and lots of laughing and dancing (wistful sigh)

I suspect that had we shared the same a) country and B)town we'd have been to many of the same parties for sure.

                        More than likely.

It was in my 'Nam* days, shared a house and then flat with some DJ's who only played proper big tunes. Needless to say a lot of it rubbed off on me and I started to emerge from my exclusively indie ways.

                          Some good tunes on here

Don't stop me now - Queen
Waterloo - ABBA (quite a few ABBA ones actually)
                          Twist and Shout - Beatles
The Boys are Back inTown - Thin Lizzy

So many tunes make me want to get up and shake myself about rather embarrassingly, love having an MP3 so I can listen to stuff during the day while himself is sleeping.

I have just scrolled a bit. Nostalgia I call it. It certainly seems that it's the old ones that reach the spot.
