OLD ones? Most of the ones mentioned above are a bit too NEW for me!
I've got assorted '60s' collections, plus some Slade, and for the rest it's nearly all folk or classical (and I can dance about, privately to the Radetsky March).
I reckon there ARE newer pieces of music I'd like, but I simply haven't ever listened to enough to find them, so I play safe and stick with the ones I can be sure of.
Occasionally i get to hear somthing that appeals to my son (aged 30), but most of his music is just not for me, and there really isn't anywhere I want to spend time looking for the 'me-style' up-to-date stuff.
Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.

So anything that has rhythm does it for me.
I'm with Brengirl on this one, specially after a few bevvies. Jailhouse Rock, anything from Dirty Dancing. I ALSO SING ALONG TO THE MUSIC, much to the amusement of my daughters. I do suffer the next day though.

          Twist and Shout - Beatles
The Boys are Back inTown - Thin Lizzy

So many tunes make me want to get up and shake myself about rather embarrassingly, love having an MP3 so I can listen to stuff during the day while himself is sleeping.
Can you still do the twist Kirsty?? I mean for a whole record!! Cos it kills me now.

SNAP! Most of my male mates were DJs (some of them really where too) so same for me. Ever venture up to Newmarket for Precious, Sweet Stuff n other 'do's? It would be a tiny world if you did - I just assumed you were Welsh from start to finish!!! My my my!

No, English and I get reminded of that constantly by the Welsh! Especially when the rugby is on.

Did not do Newmarket no, my geography is that bad I wouldn't know how to find it
Excuse me, could we have an eel? You've got eels down your leg.

I love dancing and singing, it makes me so happy!!

Fav songs to sing 'Shake a Tail Feather' Ray Charles,' Losing My Religion' REM, 'Emily' Bowling for Soup and a multitude of others.
Fave song to dance to 'Charlie' The Prodigy (from my clubbing days)...I have a soft spot for 'If you don't know me by now' Simply Red, and...and...

I may have to come back and add to this list - there are just too many possibilities...

Them Welsh boys shouldn't be so sniffy over the Rugga, we've held our own just recently - or was I dreaming it all Checked the map n you were probably too far for popping over for a evening's dance in sunny Newmarket. Just wish my memory wasn't so hazy so I could add a few more songs.

There comes a point in your life when you realize who matters, who never did, who won't anymore and who always will. Don't worry about people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it in your future.
