OLD ones? Most of the ones mentioned above are a bit too NEW for me!
I've got assorted '60s' collections, plus some Slade, and for the rest it's nearly all folk or classical (and I can dance about, privately to the Radetsky March).
I reckon there ARE newer pieces of music I'd like, but I simply haven't ever listened to enough to find them, so I play safe and stick with the ones I can be sure of.
Occasionally i get to hear somthing that appeals to my son (aged 30), but most of his music is just not for me, and there really isn't anywhere I want to spend time looking for the 'me-style' up-to-date stuff.Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.

So anything that has rhythm does it for me.

Waterloo - ABBA (quite a few ABBA ones actually)

So many tunes make me want to get up and shake myself about rather embarrassingly, love having an MP3 so I can listen to stuff during the day while himself is sleeping.

It was in my 'Nam* days, shared a house and then flat with some DJ's who only played proper big tunes. Needless to say a lot of it rubbed off on me and I started to emerge from my exclusively indie ways.

I love dancing and singing, it makes me so happy!!
Fav songs to sing 'Shake a Tail Feather' Ray Charles,' Losing My Religion' REM, 'Emily' Bowling for Soup and a multitude of others.
Fave song to dance to 'Charlie' The Prodigy (from my clubbing days)...I have a soft spot for 'If you don't know me by now' Simply Red, and...and...
I may have to come back and add to this list - there are just too many possibilities...Last edited by Pumpkin Becki; 12-01-2010, 09:38 PM.

So what does that tell you about me?Last edited by beefy; 09-02-2010, 12:06 AM.There comes a point in your life when you realize who matters, who never did, who won't anymore and who always will. Don't worry about people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it in your future.
