You aren't There used to be a channel devoted to gardening type programmes, it is no longer there, sadly.

There is a programme called Beechgrove Garden (based in Scotland) that I watch (it returns in late Feb/early March) with great interest, but you do need (I believe) Sky to access it.

BG is a real gardening programming in my view - they show experiments, report on failures etc - all good stuff.

I've been recording it for years, probably since Alan gave up so that I could fast forward through the long borders in Monty's time and most of the programme recently

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Not enough veg growing on GW for me to be interested any more. Carol's "Grow Your Own Veg" was good and I dare say I'll be watching "Big Dig" for about the 6th time if they show it yet again! You get more of a veg garden programme from chefs these days.

Has anyone got a video camera?

I reckon we could make our own programme.

Must admit I found it a bit too simple and I am not exactly much of a gardener (yet)

I think that perhaps they should use their other media for the playskool stuff (red button, online videos / guides etc as there is a need for it for the kids for sure) and return it to being a gardening program.
Excuse me, could we have an eel? You've got eels down your leg.

                    Stopped watching when it changed.

I felt it was on a different planet.

Well I am the BBC's target audience. Novice gardener and really young, honest I am!

Ok ok so I am a novice gardener. I found the format patronising and too much like top gear, but not as amusing.

I switched off quite early in Toby's tenure, might have another look when it comes back. But will find it hard to get enthusiastic.

Sad to relate (perhaps) but I've never actually watched a GW edition.
Was never into gardening when I had UK telly, (cos it was clearly for old people) and now am into gardening, I cant watch it anyway.
