No dog! The cats can make weird noises but the most odd one was from some denizens of the fish tank!
This was a few years back - TOH was in the states for work and I was alone in the house. I heard a funny scrabbling noise from the corner of the room. I hunted around for what ever mouse had got in (this was before I got my cats) but I couldn't find anything. The noise came and went for an hour or so - nothing there. Then two small red crabs came scuttling out from under the cabinet the tank is housed on! I jumped so high I nearly hit the ceiling! Wretched critters must have climbed the air hose! The weeks and the years are fine. It's the days I can't cope with!

Gemma has a great range of noises, and I have now got quite good at interpretting them (like the slightly weird not-quite-bark that signifies "cor what a hunk!" when a GSD or sighthound comes into view. She knows her distant kin!)
It's Lady (Hah!) whi sighs though. They both snore.Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.
